Annie, the mute, tends to the ill musician Alexander Briksin -- a man she's admired for as long as she's known him. As she takes care of him, she suddenly begins to see and hear a thing that others are oblivious to... A horned man that calls himself Dormir and reveals that he grants the dead a single wish. Slowly and grudgingly, she tries to skirt Dormir's plans and save Briksin's life.
